Dear customer,

Apple’s current Mac OS 11 (a.k.a macOS Big Sur) has introduced many improvements to existing functionalities as well as increasing security.

However, after rigorous QA testing, it was found that in some circumstances BLE, for offline access, is blocked and will not function as expected.

Alternative ways, users can still access the machine while offline (no internet connection) are: Use the TouchId, or a registered Fido key, or the password from the Octopus Authenticator mobile app.

This has been solved in the next Apple's macOS release 12 (a.k.a macOS Monterey)
