Octopus Tenant Manager Version 6.8.6 is Now Available
We are pleased to announce the release of Octopus Tenant Manager version 6.8.6, including new tenant-manager assignment capabilities, support for group integration, and auditing enhancements for Managed Service Provider environments.
Release Summary
The Octopus Tenant Manager tool enables system administrators to easily manage multiple tenants within a Managed Service Provider, MSP, deployment.
Version 6.8.6 introduces several auditing enhancements and new capabilities designed to simplify tenant assignment, manager administration, and group-based management flows.
What’s New in Version 6.8.6
Tenant Assignment Flow Enhancement
[SSA-18795] Tenant-manager assignments can now be performed directly from the Managers menu, in addition to the existing assignment flow from the Tenants menu.
The new Tenants tab enables the MSP Admin to easily add or remove tenants assigned to a specific manager, making manager administration simpler and more efficient.
Support for Group Integration
[SSA-19354] For improved convenience, the Add Managers functionality now supports importing groups from the Primary tenant to the MSP.
Important: When adding groups, group members are currently handled as a single collective unit in the Tenant Manager tool. For example, changes to tenant assignment, MSP role, and related settings are applied to all members of the group.
Auditing Enhancements
Octopus Tenant Manager version 6.8.6 also includes several auditing enhancements to improve visibility and administrative tracking across MSP tenant management operations.
